- Title insurance fees depend on the sales price of the home.
- Broker's commission is a full-service fee. While negotiable, Sotheby's charges 5% to 6% depending on the list price.
- Local property transfer tax, county transfer tax, state transfer tax, and state capital gains tax are the charges assessed by the government. Real estate property taxes will be prorated between you and the buyer.
- FHA fees are now negotiable between an FHA buyer and seller.
- Inspections fees paid typically by the seller include the termite inspection/clearance, septic (if applicable), and city reports.
- Miscellaneous fees can accrue from problems discovered AND REQUESTED by the buyer resulting from the home inspection.
